Services
NISA works to empower victims of domestic violence by providing information, support services, advocacy, counseling and shelter with the utmost confidentiality. We handle a broad range of issues including family disputes between spouses, parents and children, plus elder abuse, premarital counseling and spiritual counseling. All of our advocates are state certified, and we are the first Bay Area domestic violence program and shelter sensitive to the needs of Muslim families.
